Friday when I left work I checked my phone as it stay’s out in the truck… I had 5 missed calls & right then I knew something was up. The boy’s called me twice; Dennis called twice & the boy’s Grandma called me. I called the kids back after listening to one of my messages. There Great Granddad was in the hospital, there Dad was at the hospital with his granddad, Chris was going to a friends and Nicky would be left alone…Dennis went and picked Nicky up and I got him from the shop. I talked to the kid’s dad to see what was going on and he told me that his Granddad was not expected to live out the weekend & he needed to be there. Friday night at about 10:30 pm Kevin woke me up and said he has passed.
I liked his granddad a lot.. When Kevin and I were married he would always make me fell welcome. Kevin’s family did not like me much but his Granddad was different. I’m sorry that they have to go through this but CR Thompson was an old but good man till the day he passed..
I know this has nothing to do with Cross-stitching but had to post anyway. Thank you for reading.. |

Dear Dawn, please accept my sympathy in the passing of your kids great granddad, your dear CR Thompson. His death must be a great loss to all of you, but how wonderful that you have so many dear memories of him, ones you will be able you share with your boys.
