Ready Santa / Thread separators
Thursday, January 31, 2008
Think I started this on Monday 1-28-07. I had started on another calico Crossroads one but messed up and had a migraine so I set that aside for now. Here is my progress on another San Man Original called Ready Santa. That's what I'm calling it any ways cause the pattern doesn't have a name on it. His nose is great just stitched up but I decided to add a button just to give him my own little spin.

I have been thinking about these Thread separators for about a week now. This morning on the group CSF there was a post and it had a link to some of these. Well that's what gave me the design idea for these. Couldn't get a good photo of the one I made for myself and now it's outside drying so maybe later I can get one.Let me just say that they work like a champ. You just clip it to the end of the strand of floss and pick up loss end and separate your stands of floss. Hope that makes scene to you all. I'm not very good with the words.

Ready Santa is looking very cute. That one was such a fun stitch, I really enjoyed it when I did mine.

Love the thread seperators, especially the one with the frog on it.

Dawn, nice progress on ready santa. Love the button it does add a spin to it. Would love to hear more about the thread seperators. Are you making them yourself?
