I’ve been working on this every day after work for about one hour. I’m impressed with the Thread Heaven stuff. Though it does not work for me all the time it has helped me in this project working with the light effects thread. Just do not think they thought things through when they made that thread. I love the colors of the light effects threads…….
We have added something to our bathroom that I just have to show off. Never in my life time have I ever seen something quit this cool . Dennis talked about having this made about two month’s ago & I brushed off the idea thinking he would never get around to something this cool. Here it is now hanging in our bathroom. Go to the folder titled Around the House and blow up the last two photos.

 Here is my progress on the retro cat 3 of 12. The clover is being done in the light effects floss and is much prettier than in this photo.
This is a new start & a new project. The project is a needle case. I have never done one of theses before so will see how I do. I'm doing the whole pattern in the DMC light effects thread. The color I'm using right now is a multi color (Jewel Effects E130) It is
brilliantly colorfully. The pattern I don't like on paper but when it is stitched it has a whole different look. This pattern is an EMS freebie. She just does some of the best work when it comes to patterns. |

Over the past couple of weeks I received two SBQ suggestions thatrequest pictures so I decided to put them together for an SBQ pictureday. Feel free to post pictures concerning either or both requests. :)
The first request comes from Vash(http://seasidestitcher.blogspot.com/) who is requesting pictures ofthe back of your stitching… are you brave enough to give this one a shot?

The second request comes from Singular Stitches(http://singularstitches.blogspot.com/), and she is asking for "apictorial tour of [the] special place that you go to create yourwonderful stitched creations."
 This is where I do most of my stitching with TV on and cats in lap. Guess Dimmond thought it was time to stitch. |

| I'm almost finished with my second magnet for my EMS exchange. I have been thinking about adding some kind of signature to my work and yesterday I think I found one. I found these little charms at my local Michel's store. They say made with love on them. I'm gonna attach one to the piece of work when I get it completed. That will be my trade mark kinda like artist's do. Good idea or bad ?? You all can weigh in and let me know what you think..... I will have photos up on the magnet as soon as I know my partner gets them as she should be the first to see.... |
