Lillie is such a good friend but she's funny too.She felt bad that she had not gotten this in the mail in time for my birthday but it doesn't matter to me. I got it just the other day and love everything very much. I have tried to e-mail but think they are getting lost in cyber space so if your reading this Lillie Thank You so very much. 
My gift included a little kitty charm with holder, A pattern from my wish list, some blue floss, card stock, a kitty phone book and best of all she stitched me a little kitty in a basket. I bet this one behaves much better then the 4 I have running around the house right now.....LOL
This is how I spent my Monday afternoon. I made the cording for this too and that's the first time for that. I think It turned out good. It's a SanMan Original design and was very fun and quick to stitch. Now I'm gonna go and collapse on the sofa and go to bed. I have been racing the clock all day and it's time to stop. After seeing this done by a fellow member of CSF group I decided I was gonna do this for a birthday gift. She also got it put on there web sight so I thought that was kind of an honer for her. It's a freebie from My Big Toe Designs. Well yesterday I could have stitched on one of my WIP's but decided to start this instead. I had no idea it was gonna stitch up this fast. In a little more then 24 hours I stitched this and made it into a PinKeep.
The colors I used were
SSS - Huckleberry Cobbler
SSS - Zambuka
Sampler Threads - Butternut Squash
WDW - Azaleas
The fabric was hand dyed by me and at first it was done with a Cool Aid mix but when I washed the fabric after stitching it washed the dye out. I went back and redyed it with my normal way and it looks better then before.
This one doesn't look like much right now and that's mostly because it's allot of white and that @#@#@# frog came to visit me. I had to rip out almost all of what I had done and start over.

Went out in the back yard today and found a few signs of spring out there. Aren't they pretty ? Now just gotta wait till my butterfly garden and lavender blooms. I'm so excited I can hardly wait
These are the sources of my specialty floss..LOL every time I sit in a chair there is one or the other wanting lap time.
Here is my progress for the week. I only have one snowman and some of the background left to do. Next few days and I should be done and ready to start a SAL with my Friend Cherie.

Here is my weeks end progress on the Day 10. I've gotten off early enough each day last week to come home and stitch for a few hours. I'm really liking this one.
I also managed to finish my March ornament today. This was a Erica Michaels freebie and found Here. Think it's down twards the bottom of the page.
I used 14 count adia white
Dmc floss 988, 700, 208 & 680

My progress on the Day 10. The colors of the castles are not right but after discovering my mistake I just decided rather then frog it all I would just work with it. I'm doing the little noses in the satin stitch as I think it looks better then just cross stitching them.

I received this box of goodies in the mail on Thursday but was really tired from work so I'm just now getting the photo taken and posted for all to see. Thank you goes to my good e-mail friend Chris. This was so sweet of her to send me a birthday care package. One of these days I will get to stitching the cat Cross stitch she sent. The flat thing in the center is a crochet hand bag. Very nice and she did a pot holder and I love the girl scout cookies. The candy though was confiscated by DBF.
Saturday was my Birthday and I was lucky enough to have the day off. I also got my income tax back so I had money too !!!! I went shopping all day for blue jeans and can you believe I didn't buy one piece of stash. I amaze myself sometimes !!!!!! I had started this on Saturday but ripped it all out due to when I had turned the fabric over to Ty off the strand I realized I was stitching the wrong way. Riped it all out and sent the froggie on his little way, so beware. He is looking for a new home...LOL
This is Day 1's progress of my SAL Day 10. You really can't see much right now other then the blue. This will be really cute when all done up so I hope you hang out and watch it grow with me.
